10 Months

Likes: The remote, the iPhone, the park, swinging in a playground swing, taking naps in the car, stomach sleeping, taking baths, picking up and eating puffs (an expensive Cheerio), being walked in the Ergo carrier, shopping, smiling at strangers, FaceTime, most foods (loves rice with a bit of teriyaki sauce mixed in!), jumping in the Jumperoo, screeching happily.

Dislikes: The crib (apparently, she can scream bloody murder for 3.5 hours in a row...sleep training FAIL), being held by strangers, being constipated and getting a glycerin suppository jammed up her rear (hoo boy! Was she upset!)

Weight: about 14.5 lbs
Height: 25ish inches

She is starting to wear 9m tops and 6-9m bottoms. Her hair is really filling in, and we are told how cute and pretty she is everywhere we go.

Still no crawling or teeth yet. She'll get up on all fours and swing her butt back and forth, but that's about it.

We're trying to teach her sign language. At this point "more" (before each bite of food) and "all done" (after a meal). But, she has a better way of communicating. She open and close her mouth multiple times to let us know she's hungry.

I have started swaddling her arms out and letting her sleep on her stomach. She seems to like this position, which means I'm up every 20 minutes checking to make sure she's still breathing. However, this also means that she moves around a lot in the bed more, and a pillow no longer contains her. We need to put up the toddler rail so she doesn't keep falling out of bed.

Hanging out in the safest part of the basement while the tornado sirens went off (yep, it's spring in the south):

Lounging with dad after a nap (find the cat tail):

At the mall (momma needed some maternity tops that were nursing-friendly):

Earlier in the day, I accidently thonked her in the head with her car seat. You can see the red mark it left. Parent fail.

Enjoying the spring weather. I tried to find a local park with the infant swings, but none could be found. So, I snuck into a local suburban neighborhood that had a tot lot for the residents. Ahoy! Infant swing!
