9 months
Likes: The iphone (she even launched herself off the bed to retrieve the iphone that she flung), long rides in the car, sitting in the high chair, eating food with mom and dad, the jumperoo (and jumping), eating her toes.
Dislikes: The crib, not being nursed to sleep, strangers (she's starting to get stranger danger and will cry if a stranger talks to her or holds her).
Weight: 13lb 14.5oz (25%-50%)
Height: 25 inches (50%)
Head Circumference: 41cm (25%)
At her 9 month appointment, the Dr checked her iron levels, and all was normal. So, we can stop the iron supplement drops.
Right now, her sleep schedule is:
9:30p-8:30a: sleep (getting up 3 times to eat/suck)
11a: 1 hour nap
2:30p: 2 hour nap (I usually swaddle her, and nurse her to sleep in the bed)
7:30p: 1 hour nap (usually in my lap in the glider while I watch TV)
She is eating solids 1-2 times a day. Due to constipation issues, usually prunes are eaten every other time. The solids can't have any chunks, or else she'll spit them out. I add a bit of water and then blend in the magic bullet blender.
She can roll from front to back and from back to front (with proper motivation....such as the iphone).

Play Date
A girl I met through my breastfeeding group and I have become friends. Her daughter was due about a week before Corinne. It's nice to both have babies that are in the same development phase.
We worked out a babysitting swap, where she would take Corinne for a few hours one night, and the next week, I would take her daughter, Lydia, for a few hours one night.
So, the Saturday before Valentine's Day, M and I got dolled up, dropped Corinne off at my friend's house, and enjoyed a nice, romantic dining experience. We came back to find out that Corinne screamed bloody murder for the first 90 minutes, and then screamed off on and on for the next 90 minutes. True to form, she needed to be constantly held and walked around the house. No quietly playing for her. I felt like parent who picks up their kid from school, only to be told by the teacher that their kid bit 10 other kids that day.
Sigh.
The next Friday, we took Lydia for a few hours:

I now know how the "other half" lives. The other half (or rather, majority) that have non high maintenance babies. Lydia played nicely for a good hour. When she started to get a bit fussy, I fed her, and she went back to being a perfectly content angel. She was just so EASY. I could easily handle triplets or even quads if they were all like her.

Ultrasound #2
We have officially graduated from the RE! We went for ultrasound #2 on 2/15/12 when I was 7w5d. There, we saw that the bean had grown 11 days' worth in 7 days' time. Previously, it was measuring two days behind, and now it's measuring 2 days ahead.
So, at 7w5d, it is the size of an 8w0d fetus.
As we were leaving, and saying our goodbyes to the office staff, the topic of conversation came around to that Corinne hadn't yet put her footprint up on the "babies of the RE" canvas on the wall. So, we took off her sock, painted her foot orange (there weren't too many orange feet on the canvas, and I wanted hers to stand out a bit), and pressed her foot into the canvas. It was a nice feeling. I've spent many an appointment staring at that canvas, wondering if we'd ever get a take home baby and have his/her footprint on the canvas.

First ultrasound
The difference between this one and the one in November of 2010? Instead of M sitting on the little stool on my left holding my hand, he was standing, bouncing Corinne in an effort to entertain her and keep her quiet.
This ultrasound had good news. Measuring at 6w1d (I was guessing I was 6w3d), but when babies are that small, it's normal to have a variation of a day or two. With a heartbeat of 127bpm.
Next appointment is Wednesday, Feb 15, 2012. Hopefully we'll get a nice after Valentine's Day present and see some nice growth.

Soon (hopefully) Corinne won't have all the attention to herself:

Naked Baby Time
Whenever M takes care of Corinne after a bath (dry off, lotion, diaper, clothes, etc) he invokes The Silence of the Lambs movie and says in a creepy voice "It rubs the lotion on the baby".
For reference, in the movie, James "Buffalo Bill" Gumb says: "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."
Our child is going to grow up butchering movie quotes.
In other news, it was during this photo session that Corinne learned how to roll. Apparently, clothes were crampin' her style. Now, I can't keep her on her belly.
