"Snow" day

Well, snow in the south, anyways, Enough to cancel school.

Evan's morning snack

Evan was watching TV downstairs this morning. I told him I was going to go upstairs to vacuum and clean. 15 minutes later, and I still didn't have a "helper" upstairs with me (unusual) so I peeked over the side of the railing and saw his back to me, still peacefully watching TV. So I kept cleaning the upstairs. Another 15 minutes goes by and I thought "wow he is doing pretty well at occupying himself!" I peeked over the railing again, and he's still just sitting there.

Another 15 minutes goes by and I come downstairs to find this. He apparently had helped himself to the freezer to obtain the chocolate ice cream. I know he's my child because he left the vanilla alone and went for the chocolate.

He finished most of that pint. God helps those who help themselves, I guess.
