Tooth fairy

I don't know what TV show taught Corinne about the tooth fairy, but she has been interested in the tooth fairy lately.

So we had a conversation about the tooth fairy. These are the cold hard facts, according to Corinne:
1) the tooth fairy is pink
2) the tooth fairy is cold outside so the tooth fairy wants to come inside to get warm
3) the tooth fairy will somehow manually extract Corinne's teeth from her mouth and put the tooth in her hand
4) the tooth fairy will give Corinne a coin for her tooth
5) Corinne will say "thank you"
6) the tooth fairy will then say "you're welcome"

These are the facts. The more you know.

Speech

The main problem with Corinne's speech is that she omits syllables. Often times, only saying the first and last syllable of a multiple word phrase.

Sometimes, the results are hilarious:

M: Corinne, say Daddy's awesome
C: daddy aw-sum
M: say Daddy's all powerful
C: daddy aw-ful

Enter hilarity.

Cold days

Since it's been cold lately, we've been hitting up the indoor play areas:

Corinne dancing with Minnie at a toddler rave:

She was so excited to see Minnie Mouse but once she got up close, the shyness came out:

A rare moment of them
Not fighting:

Hopefully they will only ever see the front of a police car:

Meet the captain:

This was a first: they both fell asleep on the couch. Evan's nap only lasted 45 minutes though which meant he was a crank the rest of the day.

New year: 2015

We had a few friends over on New Year's Eve. I got Corinne to cooperate all day by  promising her friends. "Your friends are coming over to play tonight so you need to get out of the bath/put on clothes/take a nap/etc".

Everyone left around 11:30p. Evan crashed at 11:45p, but Corinne didn't have any problem staying up to see the ball drop with us:

We even got all the kids playing upstairs by themselves for a full hour while the adults played Cards Against Humanity. Obviously, the kids were busy up there.
