11 moms and 16 kids, aged 1-3y.
We went to the spray pad and the children's museum.
In the afternoons and evenings, we fed them ice cream and let them run around naked in the yard.

3rd annual PPP get together
We call ourselves PPP. We chat pretty much everyday, and once a year (for the last three years), we get together for a weekend-long play date while the moms drink lots of wine. Everyone arrived on Thursday and the last guest left on Sunday.

Evan knows/says all the letters but 4. Dude isn't even 2y yet. I'm impressed. There must be something to the younger sibling being more "advanced" because they watch their old sibling and learn along with him. Without Corinne modeling learning letters (thereby making it a desirable behavior to him), I doubt he'd have any interest for another year or so.
Extended breastfeeding
A problem with extended breastfeeding? They get more demanding and I can't claim ignorance anymore of what he wants.
Counting
Corinne can count to 3.5! I say 3.5 because 75% of the time it's 1, 2, 3, 2. The other 25% of. The time, it's 1, 2, 3, 4.
In other news, I replenished my smelly-good soap collection yesterday when the outdoor convert at the local mall got cancelled yesterday due to 10 minutes of rain.

Purse cleaning
I cleaned out my purse a few days ago and found a stash of gift cards. One was for BRU/TRU. I didn't know how much it had on it, so I took it to BRU to find out. $175! Sweet! So I bought a gate, a humidifier, and some scented baby shampoo (for some reason, Evan always has a wet dog smell to him after a bath...I'm hoping a change in shampoo will help). After that, I couldn't find anything else I needed. So we went to TRU to find some toys. The kids always enjoy the cozy coupe at other kids' houses, so I got one of those. I've been looking on craigslist for a used one, but it seems like the used ones are maybe $5-$10 less than a brand new one.
After putting it together, I now know why. Those bastards are a pain in the ass to put together. The little acorn wheel axle nuts things....OMG. People who have attempted to put together a cozy coupe will understand my rage and frustration at those little bastards. Those who haven't yet experienced this, will not, and instead will say to themselves "how hard could it be?"
Next time, I'm getting a used one. An "already put together" used one. Let someone else put that bastard together.
However, I'm happy to report, both kids are enjoying it very much. Like even three days later they are still fighting over who gets to sit in it.I took these pictures this morning while Corinne was still asleep and Evan got to enjoy it, solo-style.
